SOCIAL UPDATE

APRIL 16th – Thursday – 12 noon at Pizza Dees– Lunch then a Mixed Euchre Tournament from 1:30 – 4 with a $5.00 entry payable day of and a $10.00 deposit to hold your spot.

MAY 13th- We have arranged a couples cooking class with Brian ( max 20 people) for Wednesday May 23th at 1 PM at the Seniors Center on Mosley. Menu will be Chicken Marsala, Thai salad, loaded baked potato, lentil soup and individual Bundt cakes.

May 28th – Thursday - Bus trip with Hammond Bus Tours to Niagara Falls Casino. Departing at 8:30 AM with a 15 Minute stop on the way down and return leaving at 5PM Via HWY 407 so no stop. Capacity is 56 people. Cost will be $47.00 per person and I am arranging a credit with the casino, will advise amount. Open to guests.

JUNE 19 – Friday – 2PM performance of Sister Act at the Kings Wharf Theater $56.60 pp for tickets with dinner to follow at Yangs Chinese Food in Penetang.

JULY - Horse Races at Georgian Downs with Buffet Dinner – more info to follow

AUGUST 4th - Annual Picnic – Elmvale Heritage park, start 11:30, catered lunch from valley Farms.

AUGUST – Dylan Lock Sunset Boat Cruise – Penetang Dock. – Cost per person is $75.00, Can post date cheques for July 7th. Open to guests.

We would also like to do a mystery lunch tour in the late spring as well as a tour of the Singhampton Sculpture Forest and a lunch early summer.
WE ARE OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS AND ARE REVIEWING THE SURVEY SUGGESTIONS AS WELL TO SEE WHAT WE CAN INCORPORATE INTO OUR LINE UP.

The Town of Wasaga Beach unveiled its first-ever Veteran commemorative mural on April 9 at 3:00 p.m. at Foodland, 711 River Rd W, recognizing Vimy Ridge Day and honouring the service and sacrifice of Canadian veterans. It was created by artists Don Ward and Heather Shultz
